the rhode island flower show opened last night
with a food and wine tasting featuring bites from little rhody's best resturants
all to benefit the rhode island community food bank
getting a preview peek of the glorious gardens
was a special way to spend a late-winter evening
(thank you, thank you janet + warren!)
...
cherry blossoms...
aren't they just the most cheery and hopeful?!
...
this simple chicken coop seems the perfect size for a city chick
now has my wheels turning...
...
a green roof!
i l.o.v.e succulents and think green roofs are just the coolest thing.
i think this may have inspired my father-in-law to adjust his garden shed plans!
...
one of my favorite ri artists
(we bough one of his sea-scapes for our family christmas swap)
put together this cheery path
of canvas "bricks"
had me making mental notes
for a some much-needed landscaping love
at our place
...
oh, and can you hear
the snow melting?!
oooh, golly!
i am SO looking forward to spring
and those dewy morning walks in the woods...
...
if you're looking for inspiration
for your spring garden plan
