cozy cowl, complete!

Photobucket
i had finished this luxurious little number
a few weeks back
but hadn't taken the time to weave in the ends
because i really did think it was past the season for wearing.

clearly not...
it is coooold here this weekend
but sunny!

so i'm breaking her out.
and think this cowl will be my early spring staple.
loving the idea of wearing with a chambray work shirt...

ooh! thanks so much Champagne!
as you know, i am VERY new to knitting, so any/all tips are very much appreciated!
i'm off to google a how-to now and will put-to-use in my very next project.

stopped in sakonnet purls last weekend and thought of you- after your daughter posted some paintings from tiverton... hope we can finally meet this summer if you all come up this way!

and SO WISH i had known to do a spit splice.. sounds like my yarn would have been ideal too... oh well, next time!
thanks again for the tip, Champagne!

It's like magic! Glad you're going to try it. It's crazy perfect for Rowan Kid Silk Haze if you ever try something whispy!! And yep, we'll be up in July I hope! We'll have to make a plan and meet for lunch somewhere!!
Did you catch my Cow from Gray's Ice Cream? I bet you know him ;)
